Job Description
TRU is hiring a Data Analytics Specialist to support analytics, automation, and credit risk initiatives in a fast-growing fintech environment. The role combines hands-on Python/SQL development with practical problem-solving across data, automation, and internal tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimize SQL queries, data models, and datasets for reporting and analytics.
- Develop Python pipelines and scripts for data processing and automation.
- Create and maintain small internal web apps or microservices (Flask, FastAPI, etc.).
- Support credit risk analytics, including scorecards, segment insights, and portfolio monitoring.
- Use tools like n8n or Appsmith to automate workflows and improve team efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in data analytics or a related role.
- Strong skills in Python and SQL.
- Basic experience integrating REST APIs.
- Familiarity with lightweight web application development.
- Ability to work full-time on-site.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in credit risk or consumer finance.
- General finance or lending domain understanding (e.g., underwriting, portfolio metrics, KPIs).
- Exposure to automation tools such as n8n or Appsmith.
- Comfort translating technical findings for business teams.
